And the bride wore....... Spandex?

Saturday afternoon the Laurienzo's attended the wedding party for Brian's cousin Denise and her new husband, Troy. They were married last March in Jamaica. To celebrate the occasion Denise and Troy hosted a pig roast for family and friends. There was a band, a big jumper, a duck pond, and a DUNK TANK! Instead of a dollar dance, Troy and Denise had the $1 DUNK!

As you can see by Vinny's face, this was quite a fun event! We didn't see Vinny the rest of the night. When I finally tracked him down, he was soaking wet from head to toe. Big squirt gun fight with the other kids. Thankfully I had a spare pair of underwear for him to change into, but no extra clothes for the ride home!

If you look really close, you can see Talia covered in dirt. A sign that she is having a very good time!

Brian sent in Talia's picture to the online edition of the Star Tribune. It was posted Saturday and Sunday, July 12th & 13th.... Who would have thought that Talia would make the sports page before her brother?

Fun Filled Weekend!

On Friday night July 11th, we attended a family friendly work function at Canterbury Downs. Vinny brought a bag of carrots in hopes that he could feed a horse or two . We had so much fun feeding Gus and Socks , we never did get to bet on the racehorses! Who cares...... those racehorses are not any fun! The next day we had nothing better to do, so we packed a picnic lunch and headed down to the Como Zoo to see the animals and then go for a few rides at Como Town.

Brian's Birthday

On Sunday, July 6th, we celebrated Brian's Birthday. Monday the 7th was his actual birthday but unfortunately for Brian and myself, we both ended up in bed on his birthday------ with the flu! ewww. Poor Talia had it first, and then Brian and I . Vinny dodged the bullet for now. We will keep our fingers crossed. Good times people!

Vinny was very excited to give his Daddy a very special birthday gift. He also decorated his first cake and I must say, he is going to give Sally a run for her money someday! Ok...maybe not..

Talia's 1st Swim Class

Mommy took Talia to her very first swim class on Monday evening. She did a great job and even got "dunked" a couple of times. Daddy and Vinny watched and cheered from the sidelines. Oh - Amanda, if you look closely at the 5th picture down, you will notice your friend McKenzie and her little boy, Harrison! They are in our swim class!

Ellie's Birthday

We celebrated Ellie's 3rd birthday on Saturday, June 7th at Cleary Lake. The kids had a blast swimming and playing...... a great time for everyone! Happy Birthday Ellie!
